Lenovo has released in 6th generation version of the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon, a powerful business laptop that is one of the best in it’s category. The Lenovo Thinkpad X1 has always been an expensive laptop but it has historically had the strength, toughness, features and power to justify it’s relatively high prices. It has a build quality that has continued on into this 6th generation of the product.
The Thinkpad X1 Carbon is made using layers of carbon fiber constructed within a magnesium alloy roll cage. The advantages of these materials is that it feels both strong as well as amazingly light. The carbon fibre is an extremely ligh and strong material and this helps the Thinkpad X1 Carbon come in at a light 2.46 pounds.
The laptop comes in it’s regular black colour there is the option to get a silver version of the laptop. The display is a 14 inch panel with a 1920×1080 resolution. It has a pretty good brightness and works well with general day to day functions.
There are different levels of the laptop with the more expensive version offering touch screen capability as well higher resolutiona nd brightness.
The Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon also offers plenty of port options to ensure you don’t come up short. It has a USB-C port, Thunderbolt 3.0 port, HDMI port, 2 USB 3.1 Type A ports, ethernet Gen 2 jack, Kensington lock and 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also a SD Card and WLAN sim card holder.
